It was the first time I had been on a flight that long. The eight hour journey that signified the second to the last leg of my trip seemed never ending. I chit chatted a bit with my seatmate, read, ate, slept, got up and stretched and watched the hour hand on my watch slowly count off the hours.
It wasn’t the most comfortable way to spend eight hours of my life but somehow, the excitement of where I was going, and knowing the exact length of the trip, sustained me throughout the long journey.
Sometimes I wish my Christian journey was that simple. I know what’s at the end of the journey but I have absolutely no idea how long the journey is. So sometimes because of the length I admit sometimes I wonder, is it worth it?
I'm at Laced with Grace today. Do stop by to read the rest of my article Is it Worth it?

Finding Purpose
It’s not easy, this writing thing. There are moments when I have lots to say and moments when I struggle to find the words.
The problem isn’t so much that I have writer's block although sometimes that plays a part.
It isn’t that I don’t have anything to say. I have lots to say on many different things.
It’s that I’m struggling to find my writing purpose.
For the ten years I published my teen girl magazine I knew exactly what I wanted to say to Girl Talk’s readers. In other words I knew my purpose for writing. However, it’s been just over a year since that chapter in my life came to a close and I find myself wondering, what is my writing purpose?
Hopefully I’ll figure it out soon, in the main time I’d love to know,
Why do you write?
