Hi there, I’m Bernadine, a child of God, wife to my husband Mark, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend and a teacher among other things. I'm a small-town island girl from the beautiful island of Grand Bahama now living in the big city of Dallas, Texas.

I'm an avid bookworm who also loves to write.  I published a teen girl magazine for ten years which is how I originally began blogging.

I'm shy at times but NEVER when it comes to talking about my Lord.  My desire is to become the woman that He has predestined me to be. Also, as I strive to become who He has predestined me to be I'd like to encourage and challenge young women especially but also women of all ages to trust God with their hearts and dreams.

I love my family, friends, coffee, laughter, Jesus and red lipstick, just not necessarily in that order.
